My father gave my husband and I this ridiculously huge HDTV last year. I would never buy something like this for us but it is nice to see the Tour in vivd large color.

One thing not good to see? The end of the Olympic Time Trial. Last night we were watching the coverage the was on some channel called Universal HD, David Zabriskie rolls over the line and proceeds to throw up. I asked my husband "Did I just see him yack?" And my husband said yes. At least it is obvious he laid it all out to try to medal. I just didn't need to see it large and in my living room.

'cept in HD it's so real you need to go get the swiffer mop and a bucket. :D ;) I can picture the ads right now.

Mmmmmmm, gonna run right out and get me a big screen HD TV.

Oh yeah, I agree with you! That and when they show the crashes over and over again. I don't need nor want to watch the blood gushing or yackage!

Welcome to TE BTW, you're a good addition to the group, already increasing our lexicon. Isn't Lexicon a car? ;)

Yackage: result of eating yack butter for the pre-race meal before Olympic ITT.

Glad you like the word, I've used it since I had kids.

Yack butter...didn't realize you could milk a yack. Gonna have to try that next time I run into one on the trails here in Iowa! :p

Gosh, my husband would be so excited. Chances are, he would replay the moment over and over -- mostly he's such a delight, but oh my, he's gross sometimes!
