Wednesday the 13th at the Boulder Theater they are playing the movie Road to Roubaix. I really want to go see it, but seems like less fun by myself.

So I was wondering if anyone else would be interested in getting together perhaps for dinner and a few drinks beforehand, and then heading to the movie? Not sure what there is for food and beverage in that neck of Boulder so I'm open to suggestions.

More details about the show are here:

It's right off of Pearl Street mall, so there are many dinner options at many price points =)

I would consider going. Can't promise anything yet!

Hrmz, only one person wants to go get all biker geeky and watch a flick about the Roubaix? Okay, what if we all took a spin around the Boulder Creek trail beforehand and tromped into the theatre in spandex, cleats, and sweat? Pwease? My roommate is going to be out of town, and he's kind of boring, and would insist on riding his sweet Specialized Tri-Cross that he has geeked out with a windshield and the world's ugliest panniers. And he wears a dorky helmet! I can't be seen with him!

You should go with or without pals! It is a really good documentary. A bit short on action, but heavy on information. I learned a lot about that race. We actually took non-biking friends with us, and they found it really interesting.

Not sure how far away I am, but too far also. But otherwise, I'd be there. :) I went and looked to see if the movie is showing anywhere near me or my family, because many of us would love to see this. So far, I didn't see anything.

Well I'm trying to trade shifts with someone so that I will get off work around 5 or 5:30. Probably spin home quick and take the dogs for a short walk so like 6:30 grab food, 8 see movie?

I'm going come hell or high water, just wanted some company. Trying to convince this total cutie I met the other day. *laughs* Sure hope he's divorced and not some variety of Boulderite who is anti-wedding ring because I have a mad crush.

Well, this is what I get for having a busy week at work... I haven't been closely watching the threads, and I could have gone down to boulder to have fun tonight... if only I had read this sooner and arranged for pony feedings  - I would love to join you - sorry I can't!
