Sorry I haven't posted in a while; I've just been too busy riding!!!! Garden of Gods is a regular part of my morning ride. Take a look at this scenery:

That is absolutely beautiful! I wish I lived near enough to ride there.... I bet the humidity is low too!

...sweltering in NC,

Ack no fair! This is only reinforcing my desire to apply for the newspaper in Manitou Springs. Sure I totally lack a degree and they want one, but I can write and shoot which is incredibly desirable for small weeklies. That area is so beyond gorgeous!!! I would never want to get off my bike! Maybe I could write articles about my rides...

Manitou Springs is also a part of my morning ride!! It is a great place to ride. If you move here I would love to ride with you, although I try to leave around 6:00 a.m.

VERY envious!
I visited CO for my first time a couple years ago--did the MS150 and a traveled all around. Whew! Tough ride for a flatlander from Florida. We visited Garden of the Gods. It was VERY beautiful (many places in CO).

Not the same kind of scenery here...but I can ride year round. (If I can stand the heat!).

Thanks for sharing!
