My BF is jealous that I have this forum and wants to know where the guys can go!
I didnt want to hurt his feelings and tell him that no guy site could be as cool as this group of gals with such passion and knowledge for cycling ;)
Anyway he wanted me to ask.
Bikeforums.net is pretty guy-centric.

We do have guys on this forum ... they just have to play nice in the sandbox.
as for guy specific issues, what she said:

(although I don't have direct experience with that forum)

My H is a regular on the bikeforums.net forums. It's not always a *nice* place...but then, they're guys!

Thanks! I will have him check it out. I browsed there and found a charity ride in Nov not too far from me. Good stuff!
The answer is lots of places.
they're out there, ask Mr. Google (http://www.google.com/webhp?hl=en)

Try Bikejournal. Its co-ed, and you can even log your miles there and give them to TE as your club.
Its more guy centric than here, but not a bad place, and well, its more suitable for guys.

+1 to bikejournal.
Fried Quads is also co-ed, has a cycling section, and is 'nicer' that Bikeforums.

My husband has a roaring good time at BikeJournal and he's always mystified that I'm not over there all the time too.

Roadbikereview.com has pretty good forums, though it occasionally resembles a frat house :p I spent some time on bikeforums.net, but it wasn't for me....

RoadBikeReview.com is a good one, as well as its companion site, MTBReview.com. Lots of youngsters over there asking about gear and seeking validation for whatever the last thing they bought at the LBS or off the internet was, but there's some good subforums. I usually hang out in the Commuting Forum at both places.
BikeForums.net is a large site, and folks over there tend to get more than a little blustery and testy. It's not a place to wear your emotions on your jersey sleeve.
BikeJournal.com comes about the closest to the community spirit, without a lot of adolescent testosterone being sprayed about.
Bicycling.com has their "Love" Forum, which is pretty much no holds barred as far as oddness goes. Good (and civil) discussions in the other sub-forums, though.

+1 on bike journal, and it's our back up emergency meeting place anytime TE is being maintained or we break it  so he'll see us there too. Although we always come back here as soon as Jeff fixes TE.

Bicycling.com was ok ...for a few years except a few members started to get blown out of proportion in remarks.
And if you are left-wing, liberal, etc. you definitely need to walk the firepath at that site. Love forum has been renamed to refugee rat. I no longer know the history of that.
My partner is an avid cyclist but more on cycling advocacy. He subscribes to several Internet listservs in this area.

I only visit the Classic & Vintage forum on bikeforums.net. They're friendly and helpful, without the territory issues.

I visit the Clydes & Athenas and the Long Distance peeps. They're pretty good too.
