Just picked up this book over the weekend and nearly read it in one day. It's not so much a story about where he rides so much as what he learns about himself and others. At 40, overweight and sedentary Farmer re-rides much of the same route he did at 20, as a college drop-out.
Just a beautiful read. The fact that he rides through my beloved rural west doesn't hurt.
