Best Bike Short for double Century

hello, my first first post. I will be riding a double century in July, more
commonly know as the STP (seattle to portland) would like to hear any recommendations .

I went to the REI STP clinic in Tualatin last night and they said they would recommend two shorts for the two days (cleanliness, moisture-management). The recommendation was to spend $$ on good chamois, more panels -better fit, etc.
