OK, I'm selling here. This ride is a blast! Where else can you be entertained at sags by the likes of:

Naptown Strutters
Craig & the Crawdads
Circle City Sidewalk Stompers
Punkin Holler Boys

Where else can you get Fried Chicken at a lunch stop?

It's a 41 year old tradition riden at the location of Breaking Away.

If you're interested, let us know and I'll assist in recommending accommodations. Our humble condo is available, but alas, it has a limited capacity...first come, first served.

For those looking for a challenge, it's a fun one, but only about 3,700 feet of climbing each day.

For those looking for a real challenge, Silver and I will likely do it twice each day...and that will be nearly 14,000 feet of climbing...in the flat midwest!

Give it some thought.

I will definitely do this ride. No chance I will do the loops twice, though. :D

Barring any injuries etc, I hope to be back this year. Taking it a day at a time since I started back on the road, I have 93 road miles since last of May... Little steps, got a long way back before being ready for those hills again though :p

Mary, So good to see you back. You have always been such an inspiration to those on this board.

...and quite an addition to the Hilly Hundred as well! Her humor in '06 won her prominent placement in the event photographs for the '07 event!;)

...and her photologue inspired me into the '07 Hilly as well!

OMG!!! I didn't know that!!! I so wanted to go last year. Were the photos of my Twisted Witch of the West for the first day contest? I kept the witch on my handlebars and the spider on my helmet the entire time, but dressing up was a HOOT!

I'm already thinking of stuff for this year if I get to go.. :D
