I just :D:D changed my bars (interrupters and all)...and was htinking about those torquing charts....

1......how do you know how much to tighten certain bols...like the face plate on my stem....or the bolt holding the shifters onto the bar...all places one might lean on....

2......Is there anything I should double check before I wrap the bars?

Only one way to know - use a torque wrench. Park sells two beam-type torque wrenches that aren't too expensive, except then you have to buy 4,5,6,8 and 10 mm allen keys with 3/8" drive.

Double check that all the levers are tightened appropriately. Easy way is to try to twist them - if you can't no matter how hard you try, then they are tight enough. And maybe ride the trainer for a bit before taping just to make sure the placements are comfortable.
