Confession o' the day:
I spent almost $20 on a set of hex wrenches.

Oh, but they are grand wrenches! They are so precise, and fit perfectly. They have those rounded bits that really do let you work from any angle.

(I had to get them, right? I mean, I lost my free set of wrenches and I had to put my new rack on my Surly and I needed a strong wrench to switch saddles and bought from my LBS and... ;))

Of course, now I want more.

Once you spin Snap-On, you'll never go back.

I married a motorcycle mechanic :)

The rounded bondhus ends are great for angles and spinning bolts in and out, but they are not to be used for final tightening or initial loosening. Best to use a standard hex end for that because of the greater contact. Another tidbit I learned at UBI.

$20 is an excellent price for hex wrenches. You definitely needed them. And you need more tools. Welcome to my addiction.

Shoot -- I just spend $16 on a SINGLE hex -- I needed a hefty 10mm for a Campy Ultra-torque crankset screw, and it needed long handles since it takes a lot of torque to properly install. I LOVE it!

From the Tool Guide:
"Chamfered tips for fast insertion and full tool engagement in the screw head." Hehe... the elementary school girl inside me is giggling...
