Hi all.

I've been sitting at the computer for about 4 hours trying to find companies that make merino wool bras...I've found the IBEX balance bra - which looks exactly what I want, but their shipping to the UK is a stupid amount!
Does anyone know of other companies making similar bras?
I'm desperate to rid myself of chilly boobs. I'm about to leave on a 3 year cycle and don't want to put up with a poor substitute (and possibility of frost bite!)

Thanks in advance for you help.

Try Icebreaker. www.icebreaker.com. Oops. nevermind. I thought they made bras but they don't, just camis and undies.

All the companies I've looked at seem to think we don't need bras!....I don't know, but maybe it's hard to make them out of wool.... I dare them to try!

i own the Ibex bra. It's wonderful!
it is THE thing to wear for a workout in cold weather. No more cold clammy chest. Funny to talk about this in July.
It's definitely warmer in warm weather than some of my other ones though.

Doesn't TE sell the Ibex bra? Is their shipping overseas any better?

Icebreaker does have a wool bra in development - but it's not out yet. The people in the store had no idea when but they were hoping soon as they do get requests for them.

Devold makes a wool bra and they appear to have a store/distributor in the UK. http://www.devold.no/outdoor/default.aspx?menu=257&collection=117

If that doesn't help, maybe someone here can get it for you and ship it to you more cheaply?

thanks for the advice guys...

I'll check out devold and if I get no joy I'll contact some friends in the US and see if anyone is willing to be my own personal postman!

Here's to companies getting their act together for comfortable womens underwear.

There are dealers in the UK that carry Ibex. why not call them up if they can get it for you w/o the shipping?

Alpine rabbit...any ideas which ones? I've never seen ibex before, but I do live kinda way out of range of any big cities.

YIKES!! Wool bras?? I'm allergic to wool and it makes the girls itch just to think about it. Of course, today would happen to be one of the hottest, most humid for the year so far and that doesn't help LOL..
Good luck
