Pearl Izumi Shoes

Here's the thing. I ordered a pair of mtb shoes because using my current carbon soled road shoes in the dirt just isn't working out for me anymore. They're a bit tight in the width, but only on the sides of (i dont know how to explain this but) what I would consider the knuckles of your toes. Get it? So my question is, anyone know about Pearl shoes stretching out at all?
