One of our jobs that is happening in kansas had a twister go throough the fair grounds! Our sculptor called us and made my dh really green with envy! She sent picture's as well. It's cool she had her camera. Here in Orange county the weather is the same every day. Just perfect! I will try and post some Photo's here

That's a neat picture. I've really come to love the beauty (and respect the danger) of tornadoes. They are incredibly interesting to watch (although when one's coming at my house I'm a little less in awe and LOT more panicked).

Wow, I have seen water spouts before, but never a tornado. I don't think I want to see one:eek:

all was ok though! No person or building got hurt. And there was a shelter within in feet of where everyone was standing. The worst was my dh was upset he missed it.

Nature is amazing. I hope I never see a tornado in person but I'm still amazed at them. It's like a finger from the sky.

I saw a small funnel cloud about 10 years ago, really wicked. We were driving home and stopped to take shelter. I was looking out the window at the rain and a small narrow gray funnel came down and went straight back up. Fascinating, but a little too close for comfort. I wouldn't mind being a tornado chaser as long as I was safe. Jenn

a few years back a funnel cloud and hail storm happened at my house and I missed the whole thing by fifteen minutes, no damage, but the pine smell in the air was nice with mists rising everywhere.
