Well, I've had her for awhile, she served me well until 06 when I got Valentina, but I think it's time to sell her. Esp. since she's been sitting idle in the garage for so long. She needs a home where she can be free to roam.. :p

"She" is a 2003 Specialized Allez Dolce in a 44cm. Has all original drive train, but not that many miles. I'd guess less than a thousand.
I'm asking 600.00 as she's all ultegra and is in such good shape. The only cosmetic flaw she has is a bit of a scratch on one of the brake levers from a clipless fall years back.

Here are the stats from bikeapedia. I'll take some pics tonight and post them.
She's at the shop getting a tune up, and I will cover shipping within the states.

Wow. You gals are short. But I love you anyway. I was kinda wondering if it was a typo and what you really meant was 54 cm. Guess not.

Kie- I'll get with you in the am..
And yeah Wahine, I AM THAT short!! Actually my girth hides my stumpiness. When I was measured for my tri bike even the xs was almost too big!

I'm 5'1", with a super short inseam- 28 inches I think, and short little arms.
Yet I have a ..... get this..... size 10 foot!!!!!!!!
I think that comes from years of running marathons with so much "adipose tissue" on the ol frame... sigh.. :o

I'm 5'4" but judging by stand over height and top tube length it should fit me. It all depends on the company. I've found other that are 46cm and 48cm with almost the same geometry.

I'm 4'11 1/2" with an inseam of 27.5. I ride a 44 but I've got to lower the saddle a tad. I'm still in a semi-aggresive riding position, so it works. Yes, that's how short we are.

Please keep in mind she has NOT been cleaned! She is on the docket for a full tune up/ cleaning. There is some sticker goop on the top tube from tri's past. that will be cleaned up of course.
Coming from a bike shop owner, I'll make sure she's in tip top shape.

As I took pics I noted there are some cosmetic scratches on the rear D, as well as the crank arms. As I said earlier, I have had some slow speed clipless pedal crashes, but no real crashes on her.

Ciao!

Nice bike! It would fit me too...but I don't need another one!!

I'm also 5'4" with very short legs. In HS, they used to call me the 'weebul'. :p

My new Cannondale is a 40 cm. I'm 5'1-1/2, with an inseam of 27-1/2. The standover on the next size up was too high, not to mention the top tube being too long for me. Actually the top tube length is a problem for me with most bikes. So far this one feels pretty good.

I am sure she will find a wonderful home, she is beautiful :D

And wow...5'1" and size 10? I suppose I won't feel so bad about 5'11" and size 10.

And, alas, I know she won't fit me.

I am really interested in your bike, so if a sale to Kie doesn't work out, please let me know.

Geo- I think she may be too small for KIE. I'm waiting to hear back from her, but I'll PM you if she doesn't think it will work.

Gosh, that is a great looking bike. My fave colors, too. If this college kid were making more dough I'd probably do something very silly, like buy a second road bike :) Sigh. Wonderful price, too.

5 feet tall or less; usually!

Not always, though. It depends on the geometry - road bikes with a compact geometry tend to have lower nominal size so you buy a 44 that may be equivalent to a 49 or 50. And it is also true that it depends on the manufacturer: a 44 by one maker can have practically the same setup of a 46 by another maker...
