sugoi makes evolution shortys. I'll have to measure the inseam when I get to the shop, but they are short.
If your interested I'll make you a smokin deal if I have your size. They are not big sellers, so I have a bit of an overstock issue with them...

A lot of tri shorts are pretty short.

both are really nice and i was looking for new shorts to wear on race day at my tri's. but for training purposes, i was looking for something with a little more padding.

I can tell you the TE links have clickable images of the chamois (click on the name of the chamois, and it will show). They're tri shorts, so I would think not. You can always call TE - my experience has been that they're quite friendly (and low pressure!).

I'm just jealous that you can wear 2" inseam shorts! ;) My muscular (and sorta fatty) monster thighs could never get away with the mini skirt of bike shorts.
Good on 'ya!

FWIW, despite the slight padding on tri shorts, my tri shorts are my favorite shorts to cycle in. Even for long rides. I've ridden them up to 65 miles and still felt fine. Never did a century. I have PI shorts, but I have heard lots of tri girls talk about how their shorts are just as comfy for rides as their cycling shorts.

I totally agree!! I've ridden 102 miles in my tri shorts and was as comfy as can be (tell me that 2 years ago and I'd have told you to jump off a cliff). Once you get used to less padding- it's far more comfy- I promise! I even run in my tri shorts. I think I own about 6 pair.
