I have a circa 1994 Univega Activa hybrid 21-speed sitting in the garage. I used it to commute a few years ago, and since then, it's been sitting either in storage or in the garage.
It is the Country version:

And kinda looks like this:

So what do I do with it? Is it worth anything to sell? Is it worth rehabbing and using as an "around the town" bike?
It's sorta sad looking just sitting there!

Definitely worth getting back on the road. If you'd enjoy it, then by all means re-hab it. If not, you could probably get something for it (no idea how much), or donate it to some place that gives bikes to those who cannot afford them.

Yeah, there have been quite a few times I've wanted to run errands or go to the gym via bike, but haven't wanted to leave my current bike outside... it's already set up with fenders and a rack, too.
Hmmm.

Sounds like it's time to fix up that old bike and make it your utility bike!

Ditto - I've thought about getting a bike I wouldn't worry so much about (2 locks is a bit much sometimes)...

It's good to have a utility bike or two!
More bikes, more better! ;)
And if you feel like donating it, here's a nice juicy list: http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=24656
