Does anyone have a pair of Keen Women's Commuting Sandals? Do you like them? I've been wanting a pair of sandals for a couple of years now.

I've been eyeing these:

Right now I could get them for just under $100 instead of $114. Not a huge sale, but usually when shoes are on sale alot, it's because they only have a few sizes (often not mine) left.

It's my birthday next Sunday. I've been talking about shoes lots. My husband was wondering what I'd like. Usually he's really good, but seems to be stumped - he says. So it's like, I generally don't buy myself anything the week before. The sale is only until the 4th, though performance *sometimes* extends sales. OR, they might be on sale again next week. They've had lots of sales lately.

I have them, and am debating taking REI up on their return policy. Some folks love them (and I did at first)...but they're just too narrow in the toe box. I end up with a sore little toe - particularly if I have to walk in them. I also find the soles less stiff than I prefer (though that is personal preference). But I really like the concept, so I still have them...

Yup - I have them - and also regular Keen's sandals. I can confirm the commuters are quite a bit narrower & the sole possibly not as stiff as it could be. But I still like them by far the best of all the sandals (no others really come in my size anyway). My bet is that these commuters will undergo some changes for next year (or they will if Keen reads all the postings on the various fora of the cycling world) - I think they will be wider and stiffer. I also hope they come in some funkier colours - but that's just me.

I have them and love them. I purchased the men's because they were wider. There are already a couple of threads about them. Here (http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=21636&highlight=keen+commuter),
is the longest one.

I'm very happy with my Keen Commuters. They are narrow but fortunately they fit my foot. I've moved my Sidi's to the back of the shelf for the remainder of the summer in favor of the cooler Keens. They are kind of heavy, but if you aren't concerned about weight I recommend them.

What size shoe do you normally wear? I wear size nine, though a running shoe of mine is 9w. I don't remember what size I wear in a men's shoe. I don't think that my feet are particularly wide... though maybe the 9.5 might be best, if I go for it.
