Hope it goes well! I am not too far away, but I'll be racing that weekend!

Try giving a shout to the Memphis Hightailers (cliff@bikememphis.com). They can stick a mention of the ride in their newsletter.

Hub, thanks for the invite. Would love to go to the Delta (SilverSis lives just across the river in McGehee...)

But, AUGUST IN THE DELTA?

What's the name of that great steak restaurant downtown?

I tried clicking on the site, but it won't open.

Ok, I had to Google the distance and it's gonna be an overnight stay kind of event. Dunno about riding in August in MS (it's hot enough here in AR :p) but it sounds fun. Maybe I can bribe hubby into going with me.

I have an Out of the Darkness Walk (suicide prevention) the day after, so I can't come. :(

I know, August in the Delta- Kinda like Alaska in January, less than ideal conditions. . . . but I didn't pick it. . . . Pscyclepath has promised to come down . . . Unless I have the days screwed up, he's using it to practice for the Hotter than Hell . . .

Mr. Silver, steak place, do you mean Doe's in Greenville?
