Wanted: Orbea Diva to test ride/buy

I'm looking for an Orbea Diva (probably 49cm as my previous bikes were 47 & 48....though the 46 may be an option) to test ride first and foremost. I'm hoping it will fit and that I can buy one ASAP. I'm somewhat close to Baltimore, MD and I'm having a tough time locating a shop that has any Divas in stock. I hate to order without test riding, but I was hoping to have a new bike by now! I saw an incredible deal on ebay about 6-8 weeks ago and tried to find one to test before buying only to have the bike scooped by someone else. I should have just purchased it, I guess, and resold if it didn't fit. Lesson learned....

Anyone know of a shop in MD or VA or the likes that carries a lot of Orbeas? Thanks in advance!

I don't know if they'd have your size in stock, but you could call Jill at Proteus Bicycles (http://www.proteusbicycles.com/) in College Park and find out.

Proteus was getting a new order of bikes in today. :) I was just there, as I was stupid enough to leave my purse there last night (don't ask). I want my niece to test ride a size up from the Jamis she rode last night and they told me they had a new order of bikes coming in today.

Plus thanks to all who recommended that store, she's just the nicest lady! I scheduled a bike fit with her in July (first they could take me, she's quite popular).

Thanks for the recommendation on the shop! I haven't heard of them and I don't think it even came up on the list of Orbea dealers on the Orbea site. I'll give them a call!:)

I was able to test ride at 49 at Proteus as suggested here. I'm going in for the pro-fit on Friday!!!;) Thanks for the tip!

I don't think they had a 53 in right now (I could be wrong, though). However, a few weeks ago when I was looking and sent out some emails to dealers, Big Wheel Bicycles replied that they had some to test ride at their Arlington, VA store. The email is sendarama@aol.com. You could check to see if they have a 53! Good luck!:D
