Grapefruit and Vitamins

Question: I know there are certain pills they say should not be taken with grapefruit juice, but I eat a grapefruit most mornings and I wonder if it's okay to take my vitamins at at the same time? :confused:

I can find a ton of stuff on interactions with medications but I can't find anything on grapefruit/vitamin/supplement interactions. Mostly the grapefruit changes the metabolism of these drugs. It inactivates a common enzyme that works on the drugs. There is some evidence that it can interfer with the active uptake of some drugs, but I didn't find a mention of interfering with nutrients. So I would think that it wouldn't interfer with taking vitamins.

Thanks for the info. It's funny, I find myself always waiting agood 10 minutes minimum after my morning grapefruit.
