I'm looking for sandals prferably Lake but I'm open to other brands with the same feel. Size 38 (womens 7-7 1/2). I have talked to Lake and several bike shops in my area and they are no longer making these. I'm not really a fan of the new Shimano (a little bulky for my taste) but do like the old ones.

Thanks...my feet are looking forward to being much cooler!

I still have my old, "two-strap" shimano's. Love 'em. The dog decided, of all the shoes, boots, etc laying in the garage, he'd try to eat my shimano's. After searching high and low, and discovering that the new shimano (3-strap, and bulky, as you say) is undesirable, I replaced the velcro straps and am still quite happy with my chewed up shimanos.

Keen makes one, with a closed toe. Haven't heard much feedback on it, though.

Quite a few folks on here really love the Keen Commuter sandals. http://www.teamestrogen.com/brands.asp?brandID=129

I often ride in Keen Newport sandals (same as the Commuter, just not bike specific) and am a very happy camper. Only one of my bikes is cleated, the other 3 have BMX platforms, so I haven't bought the Commuters.

Bear in mind that the Commuter is a bit narrower than the Newport, so if you have width issues give the men's Commuter a try, too.
