I don't know much about this, but it sounds like something TE readers would be interested in and would support. Apparently there are several rides for cancer survivors and supporters. Take a look at the website.

I don't want to butt in, but this is near and dear to my heart! (and the fact that I'm "Not Dead Yet")

Can I just toss in a recc for Team Survivor?

We are everywhere, and most Team Survivor groups have bike groups, too. So if you aren't near these Cancer Survivors' rides, check out:

www.teamsurvivor.org

(if you are a survivor, and interested in a Danskin Triathlon, you can get guaranteed and free entry to the tri in your area through Team Survivor)

ETA: oh, and we get to take off in the first wave after the Elites in the Danskin. I knew there had to be some benefit to this booger of a diagnosis! :D

I wanna do this. I'm an Oncology nurse, so cancer stuff is very near and dear to me.

Knot... didn't know you are a survivor -- here's to you!

On the same note, there will be a Bike Ride coming up in Skagit County which is an American Cancer Society fundraiser... I will post more later. I have to find the paperwork. It is sometime in August.

Here's to survivors and supporters!
