The view out my office window at 4PM today. If you look closely, you'll see a Volvo actually floating!

On the ride home, roads are flooded...and all this gravel and sand is washed onto the streets. No ride for me tonight even though the sun is now shining!

3 inches yesterday, 2 the day before here. Very, very wet. Thankfully this most recent radar blob just grazed us.

Yesterday *before* the inches (though I'm thinking that the after midnight rain hasn't even been counted yet) we went for a bit of a ride and saw some of the fields ... underwater... :( that corn isn't coming up.

When we visited Bloomington a couple years ago, it rained the entire time (it was January). Ever since I have insisted, despite my sister's protests, that it always rains in Bloomington.

From your photo I see I was right.

After seeing that photo, I think I shall shove my rain-related complaints back into my mouth. At least we aren't flooding!

We had a very very short respite from the rain overnight, and it is pouring again here. I'm so sick of it...oops my rain-related complaint escaped from my mouth! I feel like I'm growing moss....
