We just received ours yesterday and it is surprisingly fun. Mess up a ski jump & you get to see yourself crash & roll down the run out in a giant snowball. It is very nice for checking your form on the programed exercises. It has targets for you to follow to correct your form so that you can learn the moves quickly. It is also good at detecting muscle imbalances-- for instance it was able to detect that my left knee has still not completely recovered from my crash 4 years ago. It effects both my balance scores and strength scores.
Mostly, it has interested my husband in some balance and strength work, which he has always been avoiding. Yes, he is uncoordinated and totally uninterested in sports, except for cycling some to accompany me.
I do recommend it to families that have people that need some encouragement, especially couch potate kids.
