I purchased this saddle from LisaSh on TE, used it for about a year, but the rails aren't quite long enough for it and my new bagman bag support. There is a slight scratch on the nose, which I tried to show in the pic and an even lighter one on the back. There is also paint loss on the rails from the seat clamp. Probably even more from the bagman clamp since I have been trying to adjust it for two weeks! The saddle is really in great condition and is perfect if you have been wanting to try one but not pay the big bucks. They are currently $82 on Wallingford. I just like to make sure that you are aware of any flaws. If you would like more pics, or higher resolution pics, just let me know. $40 plus shipping. If you let me know your zip code, I'll provide you with shipping and options.
Please read up on these saddles, lots of threads here, as there are no returns unless the condition is significantly different than I described!
(It isn't:D)
Edit: I forgot to mention. This is the women's version. B.17s as opposed to the men's which is just B.17.

Maybe it can just become the official TE saddle. We pass it around and everyone uses it until they decide which Brooks they REALLY need. It's lived in New York, Missouri...

Paging Trek420 "narrower than a B66" to the saddle-for-sale thread!
This'd look great on your mixte.
(and maybe it will convert you to the Brooks Side...;) )

Originally broken in by my posterior!! :p
I worked about 6 applications of Proofhyde into that baby when she was new, -both top AND bottom! It's got nice sitbone dents at this point.

I put proofhyde on the top and bottom just today. Definitely has the sit bone dents. I think I just made yours more pronounced!
Still available...

I'll take third (or is it fourth) dibs on it, just because I don't have a brooks and have heard so much about them.
My four year old son is totally into star wars, and I have seen (mainly heard, as it plays in the DVD player in the car) all of the movies multiple times, plus having to constantly answer questions about them.
Let me know, I'll in rolla saturday as usual. Hoping to ride in the park in eureka tomorrow, but will have the boy so it'll be 2 miles slow, lots of circling in the road because you can only ride so slow without falling over. He's at a stage where he goes too fast to walk with, but too slow to bike with.

PM'd you, Claudia. And to think I was just sitting here thinking, "Does anyone ever sell a used Brooks?" ;)

Whichever one of you doesn't buy this one, I will probably have one for sale after I build up my Soma. Also a Honey B-17S. I bought it as a return from Wallbike but it doesn't have enough fore-aft adjustability for any of the bikes I currently own, and I really don't think it will work on the Soma, either ... I'm just waiting to make sure. I have only ridden it once for about a mile but someone else rode it for a while before me ... no sit bone dents, though.
So do not despair. This is not your last hope, there is another! (That was for you, Trek.)

yeah, I've got a gary fisher traila bike but he can't reach the pedals yet.
Probably best I didn't get first dibs on the brooks, reading other posts it sounds like it might be too narrow. I've never had sit bones measured, but I'm basically pretty wide all over.

The saddle is sold.
Fastdogs...are you still riding today? Thunderstorms off and on. I played with the idea of driving down there too, but with the forecast I decided against it.
Also, did you see this (http://www.moonlightramble.com/rec_series_08.htm)? Route 66 ride on June 21st. Pyannyplayer may be there, I'll be there for sure. It sounds like fun.
