What's going on here? It's Phoenix, meaning we have 100 days of 100 degrees starting May 15th. . . . Usually . . . But right now it's 54 degrees and POURING!! We haven't had any rain in Phx in May in 7 years!
Anybody else having wacky weather in their region?

It seems a lot cooler than usual in Indiana, but I'm not complaining. I know that this too will change.

Very cool here in Western Massachusetts (40s and 50s) - I saw a couple of kids yesterday wearing winter coats and hats!

That IS weird! I grew up in Yuma, and we didn't have any rain at all for 7 years (ok- it felt like that, but rain in May is quite strange).
Hmmmm.... that's very, very wacky.
We've had a much more active tornado season than normal so far. We even had to get in our shelter once already a few weeks ago. That was early. It's just hot, humid, and there's a threat for severe thunderstorms almost daily. You know, the usual spring/summer in tornado alley. ;)

Northern Arizona reporting - Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let It Snow - yep, it's snowing to beat all out there right now - has been snowing much of the night although there is little accumulation.
IT's cold 33 degrees burrrrr - Tuesday night I was outside playing tennis till 8:30 - just like a summer's night - what a change!
It's been quite cool up here in the PNW. I'll grant you at this time of the year I don't really expect it to be hot, but I haven't even switched over from using flannel sheets yet...

We had 3 days over 80 degrees last week. We usually don't get that until August. Now it's snowing. feh

Central AZ reporting in. Wacky as well. Mon and Tues we were soaking in the pool all day, now it is in the 40's and raining. Of course this would have to happen on our first 3 day tour in the White Mtns. We had to bust out the winter gear again.

Real wacky weather in So. Cal. Last weekend it was 100+ degrees; yesterday we had hail, and 2 tornados touched down in the Riverside/San Bernardino area - right near where Fredwina rides. Today, they're talking about water spouts off the coast. Question for the weekend: to ride or not to ride?

Ohio's been pretty normal, or at least "within normal limits." Unfortunately normal this time of year can include near-daily rain. The last two days have been dry... hoping for another three dry days so I can FINALLY get something planted in my garden :(

Washington State (pacific nw) is colder than usual. Of course, we always get the rain at this time of year, but it really has been colder by 5-10 degreses compared to avg. And last weekend, 85 to 90 degrees for 2 days! Monday -- 45 and raining yet again!

It poured here in the SoCal Inland Empire all morning, which means that it should show up in PHX tomorrow..;)
Yes, we usually don't get rain from March to October, and it was 100 here last weekend.
Hopefully, it will calm down, I'm supposed to do a 200K Brevet Saturday
Nian, the tornado was Perris(about 20 miles se). I was think about when I saw the news last night about the train being blown off the tracks at March AFB(the route goes over the track on bridges :) )

We've actually had a nice spring here in NC -- not going directly from winter to summer in April like usually happens. It's been coolish many days, cool nights, late last frost, quite a bit of rain, a smattering of tornados, a couple hailstorms, quite a bit of wind, all a bit odd.
It's finally supposed to be in the 80s for a couple of days starting Memorial Day. Normally most of May is in the 80s, but I can only remember a few days so far this spring where we've topped 70s for highs. I've been very thankful for the rain as we were in such a serious drought last summer through fall; it's so nice to see everything GREEN again!

We spent the weekend in the Davis Mountains of Texas and they may be having odd weather. It was crazy windy several of the days, which the locals said usually only happens around Easter and earlier in Spring. Plus it was over 90 every day and their average summer highs are only in the mid 80's.
In Austin it seems to have been a drier year all around. We are having record breaking heat right now and no real rain to speak of in the forecast. :(

It's been humid, hot, and rainy the past 3 days. Arkansas is still having weekly tornados it seems.
Colorado had a tornado.

Kansas is getting tornadoes, too - 17 of them Friday, plus several over the weekend. We've had storms here every night since Friday - flash flooding last night, heavy rain & wind & hail Sunday night - including a downburst of approx. 100 mph 1/2 mi. away from us that destroyed a carport and numerous cars and buckled a building wall at a liquor store (but nowhere near that kind of wind at our house), wind & hail Saturday.--
It's supposed to be quiet the next few days.

Hot and muggy here in south Looziana, with about a 20% chance of thunderstorms. Pretty normal summer forecast for us.
