I ordered a Rosie Saddle from Terry and have been anxiously awaiting it's arival to no avail. I emailed them sometime back and they answered, that the saddles were due to come in the first week in May and would be shipped out asap. Well, I've been thinking any day now my new saddle will come, and the days continue to go by with no saddle.
Soooo, today I decide to call to see what is up. They informed me that the shipment date has been delayed to the first of June. She apologized for my inconvience and such. I told her that it's not a real big deal, but it would have been nice to have been notified. I suggested to her that they could at least email the folks that have ordered them and let them know something.
I am really looking forward to getting this sadlle but I'm getting tired of waiting.
Am I being to impatient? I guess I should have just said thank you and left it at that, but to me, that is just not good customer service.
I don't know, maybe I expect to much.

I just want my new Saddle!!!!

Waiting patiently is an oxymoron!!

Hope your saddle arrives soon!

They should be communicating with you. I agree -- good customer service means keeping the customer notified every time there is a further delay.

Generally, Terry has excellent customer service. I think it's good that you told them you would have appreciated an email.
One time they sent me part of someone else's order in with mine. They were very helpful in solving that and figuring out where the rest of my order had gone.

I'm in the same boat as you! I'm waiting for one of their new TT saddles.

If it is a teensy bit of consolation, I'm also on waiting on a Rosie.

If it works, it will have been worth the wait, right?

Like Crankin, I've never had anything but great service from Terry, even to the extent of their calling me when things I've ordered either weren't available or were backordered. So it surprises me, and not in a good way, to hear about your situation.

You did the right thing--they (and all retail companies) need to hear when they're not providing satisfactory customer service, so they know there's something they need to do better.

Hope you get your saddle soon!

You are right!! I sooo hope it is worth the wait. I need a new saddle and have for 2 years. I guess I have rode with this poor fitting saddle that long, a little longer won't wait.

I just didn't know any better. I just dealt with it thinking it went along with biking. I wasn't going to quit biking though, I enjoy it to much, butt and sensetive parts it pain or not. LOL

Terry does have good service - though I have found them to be a bit slow sometimes.....

IMHO no one can beat TE for customer service, fast response, fast shipping....
