I've been searching for brake levers for the "community mixte" that I got from Zen, who got it from Sandra, who got it from Geocam.

I'm going to switch it from drop bars to albatross. It's for my DIL, even though I'm having a hard time parting with it. If I kept it I'd keep the drop bars. It has side pull calipers...none of the brake levers make it clear that they will work with these calipers. The way things are named is so confusing! I'm getting very frustrated!

So I just need someone to TELL ME which ones to get! PLEASE!!

And where's the best place to get more girly grips...I'm finding lots of BMX style grips, but she's not going to like those.

Thank you!

I have the Dimension laced-leather look grips on my Nitto All-Rounders (a slightly narrower version of the Albatross).

they look pretty sexy ;) and kinda girly, and they are very comfy!

My brake levers on that bike (sidepull calipers) are cyclocross interrupters. My LBS guy thought they looked the best and had the nicest action with the position of the bar.

There are pictures of the grips and levers here: http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?t=23135

You're saying you can use interruptor levers as standalone? hmmm...I have some interruptors already....:)

I finally found some grips I like...leopard print! :) I don't know if she'd like them, though. I think she'd like these, though.

That company also has a wide variety of cool bike baskets.

I would love the shellacked cork grips and a Brooks honey saddle. :)

I just put some Tektro R100a brake levers (http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/product_details.php?id=15986) on my Raleigh Step through. They are smaller and worked with the older side pull brakes.

I bought some levers from loosescrews...don't remember what the are now. 10 bucks. :) They work fine. I put the bike together today, and it has it's own thread in the bikes section if you want to see it.

I can't get my cork grips to stay on the handlebar.. I'm thinking that the bar diameter is too narrow. I guess I should try the brown leather ones..?
