I noticed both products yesterday while at REI. I didn't get either, but I was wondering if anyone used the one with sunscreen and did it help enough with chafing?

I'm not a natural red head, but I have the complexion of one. There are parts of me that will burn all summer long if I'm not religious with the sunscreen.

Thanks,

V.

I can't see using Body Glide instead of sunscreen. I don't see the utility of putting the two together. Can someone enlighten us?

I don't understand it either. The places I put Body Glide don't need sunscreen. :p

That was my thought, too!

Exactly. If it can see the sun, I'm not getting chaffed there.

Would it be related to the advice some give to use Bodyglide to help get the wetsuit on and off? The idea presumably being that when you come out of the water and take the suit off, you'd have some sunscreen on your arms and legs? That's the only connection I can think of. Please note this is not a recommendation from me, just a WAG.

Yeah, but to get out of a wetsuit, or to reduce chafing, typically you only put Body Glide on your wrists, neck, and lower leg/ankles. If you're going to do sunscreen, you need it in a lot more places. Again, I can't see using Body Glide over you're entire exposed body.
