Early this morning before meeting another TE member for lst time, I had a blood test done at lab. Met another patient who just finished her test too. After seeing me in cycling gear, we chatted about bikes. A lively, 59-yr. woman originally from Quebec, now living here. She cycles as a lifestyle too since she doesn’t have a car. From her build, one can see at least she tries to keep fit. We happily swapped phone numbers.
Then 2 hrs. later met for lst time and did a ride with Grog today :) …fab weather with the flowering trees. Coincidentally as you all know, Grog is also from originally from Quebec.
We had crepes afterwards were good. Crepes with brie, pistachio and maple syrup..was yummers.
And today, conincidentally my partner has arrived in Paris from England, to check out the cycling facilities and planning with his riding buddy.
Today was a French-like epiphany. Surreal coincidences.
You have to understand…I already had my German epiphany…raised in German-Canadian city/region where ½ of my schoolmates had German last names, moved to another city where later met and am with a partner who is Canadian of German descent . Then coincidentally, 16 years later I got hired by my present German engineering company (no connection to my partner).
Wonder what other epiphanies await in life. But it sure is wonderful when it happens!:)
