I just ordered one for my 80's Schwinn le tour but I am concerned that it is better suited for a cruiser style bike. Anyone using a b18 on a road bike care to comment?

Great idea!!

I have one on my silver/purple Giant FCR.
I got the burgundy one in a set with the grips.

That's good to hear. I was starting to worry that it wasn't right for my style of bike. I can't wait to try it out! I am hoping it is as comfortable as it is beautiful.

I'm not sure if it's "right," I'm generally a bit of a leftist.

that's an excellent choice for a roadbike. It's not a "comfort" seat anyway. It's a serious randonneuring saddle.

I have had the saddle for about two weeks now and it is working out just fine. It is not as wide as it appears to be in pictures. Nice and springy, too. I don't think I have the adjustment fine tuned enough yet as I keep sliding a little forward on it but I am sure I will work it out.
Thanks to everyone who replied on this post : )

I agree. Just a TOUCH- like 1/8" or so. Easy to go too far.
