I am looking for a cycling computer that has functions similar to my TomTom. They make a motorcycle version but I think it's too bulky for my bike. I like being able to download maps and plot my course on the computer and have visual/voice commands to keep me on track. So far I haven't found what I need. I'd like to use it on my mtb on long trails. My hubby has a Garmin 305 Edge but it leaves breadcrumbs, as do several types of computers. I'd like to have dist, altimeter, speed, cadence, HR as well. Do you know of any computer that has the features I'm looking for? Maybe something coming out in the near future?

How 'bout the Edge 605: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=10884

They've added true mapping features to the 305 (and a color screen). Of course, it has a price to match:rolleyes:

How about the Garmin Edge 705 that came out this season? It does all of that if you get it with all the accessories. I'll be jealous though. It looks soooo cool!

From the Garmin 605 description:
Add optional topo mapping for your off-road adventures.

So, if I loaded this (http://www.ozarkgetaways.com/Syllamo_Bike_Map.pdf), would it give me prompts to stay on the designated trail?
