This article was sent to me by my cycling club. I thought maybe some of you would like to share your opinion with Mr. Muska. It'll probably fall on deaf ears, but I'd like to show him how many of us "ninnies" are out there.

No One Rides Them, Yet Bicycles Dictate Our Public Policy (http://www.connpost.com/oped/ci_8848953)

What a truckload extracyle full of bovine excrement.

Well, um... I don't think he recommended violence against us, at least... I wonder how many other lies he tells himself every day about people he's so afraid of?

He doesn't directly say it, but it sure sounds like he'd love to mow down every cyclist he saw and back over them a few times just for good measure.

There is nothing so useless as trying to discuss some issue with a person who assumes his conclusions, can't imagine a world different to the one he occupies, and doesn't even understand simple concepts like "evidence" and "solution". That bozo is a brass-neck example of the breed, and one of the reasons we're circling the drain.

I was going to respond to him, but fortunately remembered my Galbraith and Paine in time to save wasting the energy/

"Most people, faced with a choice of changing their minds or proving that they need not, immediately get busy on the proof" -- J.K.Galbraith

"To argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead" -- Thos. Paine

I couldn't even bring myself to finish reading that vile, hate-spewing pile of drivel masquarading as reporting.

The problem is, arguing about bikes on the road with someone like him is like trying to argue with someone about abortion or evolution.

I couldn't finish the article either but I got the gist of his ignorance. And I did comment :D something about a cushiony throne of adipose tissue:p

I'm sure that'll go right over his pea brain.
