I'm trapped in my chair by ten pounds of snoozing kitten. He's asleep on my left forearm since he likes to be held up close to my shoulders. He's doubled in weight since we brought him home in December and my shoulder is getting tired. He's such a deep sleeper, he doesn't even notice me typing.

What a cute mental picture!
BTW - He would notice my typing...my hands sort of flail about while I spastically attempt to strike the keys in some sort of order (with two whole fingers). :p

My roommate and I used to call that being "catted". Since it was a sin to disturb a comfortable cat, you could legitimately use it as an excuse to not get up.
"Could you get the phone? I'm catted."

I like "catted". Somewhere I read the quote, "I'm not human, I'm just cat furniture". Somedays....
A friend of ours calls that "helicopter" typing.
My boss likes to stand around and laugh at me while I type.
My ex's cat used my boobs (before the breast reduction) as a sleeping shelf all the time...I spent many hours watching TV with an orange cat right under my chin. :D

Last night I had trouble typing because my 17 pound cat was gracefully (if you ask him) laying on top of one of my forearms as I TRIED to type. I eventually had to evict him. He didn't seem to understand that BonnieCat weighs 1/3 of what he does, so she can lay on top of a forearm and I could still type. But him, no way.

LOL Our nickname for Riley, the girl cat, is "The Puff". So it's called "Being Puffed". "Could you call work for me and tell them I'll be late? I"m being Puffed". :D
