I took my bike and trainer to the PT yesterday. Like I suspected, I have a huge muscle strength imbalance between my left and right side. So, I have been banned from riding fast (ha!) and I have to walk up my driveway (:(). She said by doing the exercises she gave me (another 4 to add to my repetoire) and building my base slowly, I can overcome this.
Right now I am feeling very sorry for myself. Not only do I have a sore groin and IT band, but some of the pain I am having I think, is related to the Fibromyalgia. There is a name for it, which I forget. I am not freaked out and just want it to go away. When I go to the acupuncturist on Monday, I have to have him start working on this stuff again.
Since it is 38 degrees and winds gusting up to 40 mph, I missed another opportunity to ride, with having a day off. I HAVE to get out tomorrow, or I will be toast next Sunday on our ride. I did go to a very hard spin class yesterday, led by a real cyclist, who is a ranked triathlete.
