I was cc'd on this email, and it just made my day!
Sometimes I wonder if we are doing enough, and I always worry about whether we will make it. And then I get this...
Fellow Creekers,
For those of us who have waited for a good bicycle shop to open in the area - the wait is over. Last week I took a bike into Estrella Mountain Cyclery, at 13380 W. Van Buren (behind Papa John's Pizza), to have the shifters repaired. Even though parts had to be ordered, the work was completed quickly and professionally and the bike ready on time. In fact, the shifters now work better then when the bike was new.
Tony and Denise Amos provide a friendly, professional, personalized service that really puts their customers at ease. The are able to handle any sort of bicycle repair, tune-up, or accessory issue and at a fair price. Oh, and they also give a 10 percent discount to Pebblecreekers.
I cannot recommend them more highly and, having visited the other local cyclery on Dysart, I also can't express greater relief that Estrella Mountain Cyclery is now open for business.
I can't take credit for finding their shop, since it was the PC E-group that pointed me in their direction. I can only add my firmest recomendation that we all make Estrella Mountain Cyclery the shop of choice for all future bicycle repair and accessory needs.
Boy howdy did that make my day! I just had to share.. I hope I'm not tooting my horn too much. It was just the highlight of my day and I wanted to share.
