This was my first road bike that I bought a couple of years ago and since then I have bought a new one so this is just sitting around not getting used. Everything is stock except for the saddle which is a specialized dolce. I have just had the bars wrapped with fresh tape. This is a very good bike for a beginner. I think I paid around $400 for it on ebay. I added a few scratches when I went clipless. :p I will sell her for $150 plus s&h.

This bike is currently in storage but I will try to get out there and take some pictures.

Ooooh, you don't have to take it out of storage :) If you had some pictures around, I would have liked to see the bike :)

This sounds like a great first bike for my daughter to start on.

Wow. I didn't know they still used downtube shifters. How did you like them?

The shifting was easy to catch onto. I never had any problem with it.
