I have been looking at pictures and video of professional triathletes competing and I notice some of them wear the same speedo type bottoms on their bike ride. Do these not have any padding ? How do they ride 100+ miles without any padding?

well for one thing you need to keep in mind that they aren't on their bikes as long as most mortals... Also they have no extra bit's to rub around and chafe..
But yeah, they wear them...

Well, I think some people just have tougher butts. And it's all about what you are use to and the tolerance you have built up. If you ride in no padding all the time, you get use to it I suppose.

Wait:

There IS padding in the triathlon swimsuits worn by these women.

It's not very thick and it doesn't cover the inside of the leg (which would be the part driving me crazy, although I imagine most of them have lots of body glide on their saddle) but the have their @$$ covered, so to speak.

Faris says if you put enough power on the pedals there is no pressure. And it's true. I can hold that for about 30 seconds.

And Faris wears some itty bitty bottoms! :D
