I'll kick this one off and I'm keeping my fingers crossed I make my goal this month. I'm going to set my sights on 600 miles for March. Half of those 600 I'm hoping with come from three club centuries. It is time to start pushing the mileage up to get ready for the 3-State 3-Mountain adventure I've signed up for in May.

I'm shooting for 500km this month. Might make 600km if the weather is good over Easter. :)

My modest goal is 250 miles. With the weather warming up and the time change and the new bike, I might just make it.

Hmm never set a monthly goal, just weekly. So if I add it up....right at 300 miles.

My goal is to cycle to work (btwn train stations, 5km total each way) twice a week..on tues & friday. I will test it this week and see how the muscle fatigue affects me @ work. One bike ride on the weekend of 10km.
I have swimming goals too :)

I set a goal of 200 miles (320 km) for March, but I have no real hope of hitting it. We're leaving for a week of skiing in Colorado on Saturday and we'll be gone for 2 weekends, so that pretty much kills my chances.

It is the end of the month and time to revisit the goals we set at the beginning of the month. Where did March go? I just barely made it to my goal. I had set a goal of 600 miles and 464.68 mile of my 602.1 were road miles so I'm pretty darn happy. The rain, wind and the stomach virus I battled this month kept me off the bike 7 days so I was happy to hit 600 today after school.

I wanted More THan Last March and I got there yesterday. TOday and tomorrow should give me about 25 extra.
Hoping... hoping... that the weather improves. That's what I said last month.

I wanted 800 miles and ended up with 787.5 :D
Longer days & better weather are good...

I'm waaaay off. As they say, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. I didn't plan my riding this month at all. I could blame it on the weather, but I really have nothing to blame but me. I did other active things, though, so I won't be too hard on myself. I'll do better in April.
I only rode 98. My goal was 250.

As predicted...not even close.
Had a goal of 200 miles. Travel...illness...and I managed to squeak out only 91 miles.
Ugh.
April will be better.
I know it!

I rode 711 miles, but only 533 of those miles were outdoors.
I'm training for the AIDS/Lifecycle Ride in June, which has been a great motivation for me to get on my bike and ride consistently!

let's see... I have a whopping 35 miles outside for the month of March. Yep blame it on my username... also known as my city... also knowns as freezing cold for the month of March!! but hey, that's chicago.
if you're counting spinning hours, oh geez, I have no idea... and I don't even want to count... I'm so sick of spinning I could puke:eek:
let's just hope April brings in some good outside miles:D

Way to go Melissam!
Thanks, Makbike! :)
I still have a ways to go to catch you in Bike Journal mileage. Now that you're healthy, that's probably NOT gonna happen.
What's your mileage goal for April? I guess I'll shoot for 700 miles again, counting indoor mileage.

I think I'll shoot for 650 in April. Work will be very hectic during April and I plan on riding as often as I can after the work day officially ends. April is a tough month in Kentucky weatherwise - often a very rainy month but again I'm going to give it my best shot. I need to do a lot of riding in April to get ready for the 3State3Mountain ride on May 3rd.
I've put the trainer away and will not pull it out again until November so it is just me, the bikes, and some of my favorite roads.

I have 74 for March. Last March, I did 77 - no illness. We can't mountain bike because there is still two feet of snow on the trails. We can't ride the day after a snowfall because the roads that are safe to ride on have a covering of slush, and the sidewalks on the busy roads are filled with snow from the plows. Even with snow, we've had quite a few GREAT days for riding. Unfortunately, I missed out on a nice long weekend of riding because I'm getting over a cold, and I had tonsillitis earlier this month. Of course, the weather is always nice and good for riding when you're sick.
Last April, I had 199. This April, weather permitting, I'd like to get 400 miles (I'd love to get some commuting days in!).

I just added up my March miles and beat my goal of 400. I ended up with 536, my hubby was surprised and jealous. Not sure about April as it will start to get warm.
