I went out both Wed and Thursday. I got 15 on Wed and 20 today. It was GREAT:o

My cadence was in the 80's and my speed went right up to that 15-16mph range I thought it should be. It was my own personal argument with the stationary bike. I've been doing Chris Carmichael's intervals in a recent bicycling mag and I could really tell it has helped me power through small hills. I still have a long way to go but they are already better than last year.

Enjoy! I should have 2 more good days to ride before the next yucky weather comes in.

What a difference! To be on a bike OUTSIDE! Yeah, the gym had to do during the wet gloomy months but the magic is outside! Fresh air, sunshine, the wind . . . glad you had a great ride!

Many more to come now that it's almost March! The month of the first day of spring! :D

I don't care if it's 5 miles, I think I'm going to try to sneak outside today. Of course, I'll have to bundle up, it's only supposed to make it to the 20's today:eek:

I am in the exact same situation. I have been on the trainer doing his 60 sprint intervals. Holy crap. I got to ride last weekend and what a difference. My problem is not weather but work and traffic. Here in Miami you have to pick you street time carefully. Good job with the rides. It's nice to get those tan marks back.

Yep.. got in two outdoor rides this week! SWEET!
BUT... the downer is just saw the weather report and the cold wind and rain are all on the way -- even lightning tomorrow. Back to the trainer as I'm a wimp about cold wind. Bummer. :( Maybe the next week!

If you have the sun, enjoy it for me!
