MORE half marathon--need a partner

I am thinking about signing up to walk the MORE magazine half-marathon (http://www.more.com/more/category.jsp?catref=cat2930007) in New York City on April 6. To do the half marathon, you have to partner with another woman (any age since I'm over 40) who's also doing the half.

Is anyone interested in being my other half? We don't have to walk/run together (though that might be fun), just have to sign up as a pair.

I would if I lived near you. I'm a Texas girl. Hopefully you can find someone. Maybe ask around your local running clubs?

If you still haven't found a partner, you may also want to post something on the NYRR website. There is a section where you can look for a running partner. I'm not sure if you have to be a nyrr member or not to post.
