Stolen: Independent Fabrications Crown Jewel SE

Hi folks,

Jocelyn who just lost her bike from the UW campus sent me over here to post mine-- it was also stolen from UW, this week, from the same building. Here are the details:

Crown Jewel SE
Sparkly blue with white star panels on the seat tube and downtube
sterling silver headtube badge in the shape of a crown on the front
Reynolds Ouzo Pro fork
Dura ace grouppo with ultegra short-reach shifters
chris king headset
chris king hubs on black mavic open pro wheels - 28-hole 2 cross pattern in front, 32 hole 3-cross in back (I built them :-( )
Terry Butterfly ti saddle
Black salsa poco handlebars
black thompson seatpost

I found this post on another forum. It looks like Meg was able to find her frame at least. Yay! There is still hope for all those bikes that have gone MIA!


Hey all,

Just wanted to let you know that 8 months after my IF crown jewel got stolen, it's coming home! I found it for sale on craigslist in Tucson, AZ- the U of A police dept was nice enough to claim it for me and it will be shipped home sometime in the next week or two.

SO, if you see me riding a tiny IF crown Jewel, blue with white stars, please don't beat me up! I'm the legitimate, original owner and the bike has been recovered.
