Dh and I went to the Dermatologist yesterday. Everything is pretty good for two people who are always outside. But my Scottish/Irish skin he said will catch up to me unless I use this cream. I have damage from sun on my face, shoulders and chest. And so you know I believe this is damage done a while back. I wear 45 zinc oxcide sunblock, hat and long sleeves now. He says using this will help reverse the damage and scaring. I am just not sure how long I am supposed to use it for. I am not picking up the perscription till after Hawaii. He said to do that cause you have to be careful being in the sun when using this stuff.
I believe it is new? Has anyone done this treatment?
I am exctied about using it cause skin cancer does run in my family. My dad is an old time surfer and a gardner for a living. But he is bad about using sunblock.

I've never used it but I did go to the FDA site and read the label for it. The label states that the recommended treatment period is 60 to 90 days. It also says that complete healing of the lesion may not be noticeable for 30 days after cessation of treatment.

If that helps at all...... :)
