As some of you may know from the cyclocross thread (http://forums.teamestrogen.com/showthread.php?goto=newpost&t=20759), it is with a heavy heart (for several reasons) that I must sell my barely year-old hybrid. I have all kinds of knee problems and the last thing I need is a bike that doesn't fit me. I have gone ahead and put it on Craigslist but wanted to let you Mid-Atlantic ladies know first before I start branching off to places like eBay if it doesn't go.

Here's the link: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/bik/566148924.html

I hope she goes to a great home. :(

I was considering this Trek (http://www.trekbikes.com/women/wsd_products/bikes/2008/bike_path/72fxwsd/)
I have no idea what size I'd need. I'm 5'2" w/29inch inseam.
And I have no knowledge of components except for road components.
I could get a brand new bike for $460.00 plus lifetime tune-ups.

I think I just talked myself into the Trek. I do like the geometry of yours though and that's a big selling point.

You have to do what's best for you ultimately. At 5'2" an XS might be right up your alley but I am no expert (part of how I got here in the first place ). I have taken her twice on the C&O Canal and she was great on there especially because you could lock out the front suspension if you so saw fit. Feel free to PM me if you have any other questions.

You might also want to post it in the For Sale section above the regional sections (in TE forums).

Oh I will but I wanted to let the Mid-Atlantic ladies know first. If I can't sell it locally I will definitely post it here before posting it on eBay (which right now is a last resort.)
