Someone told me that the saw some video tapes you can play while you are riding that look like you are riding on trails or road, etc???

I thought I would wear a camera while riding and make my own - my get rich quick scheme - I was disappointed to hear someone else got rich on my ideas

Anyone know where you can find these? or if they are worth getting.

I am new to this kind of biking, I rode bikes for years just for fun nothing serious until recently.

Hey, Trigurl....

I was hoping to find one of the vids or DVDs to buy as a christmas present for my husband....I settled for the carmichael training DVD. whew. looks hard - I haven't tried it yet...

As far as I know, the only vids available like that are part of a very high end very expensive computerized trainer that you put your bike on. I would LOVE to have video of trails to watch while on the trainer. having the guy tell you what to do and watching Allison Sydor and co. spin is interesting, but trails would fill me with ENERGY!!

you might have a chance to get rich on your ideas after all!! :D

namaste,

Tons of good trail video here and it looks like they've added stuff for sale. I've been on several of the trails in these videos and they do a good job. I knew what to expect to some extent.

Also, just for thrills, do a search for bicycle courier videos to download. That will get your heart pumping (and your adrenaline)!

Hey Trigurl,
I bought huby a helmet cam for xmas this year and the thing is pretty darn cool. So far he's only used it skiing with the kids but we plan on using it in the spring biking if the snow ever goes away.
Here are two sites.
www.helmetcamera.com where I got mine.
www.rfconcepts.co.uk and go to mountain biking pics to see some great video shot with helmet cams.
Hope this helps.
