I ran across Jodi Bell's picture when she was a wee one. Just wanted to share. :)

What a cutie! Is she purebred Aussie, or part border collie?

I've never seen eyes like that. Has she grown into them yet?

I'm at three dogs and holding right now. Black one is yet to be named.

Wow. My Tazzie's eyes were blue, but he had a stare just like that. He was plainly half yellow lab, but it took us a while to conclude that his other half must've been Aussie. There's another data point of confirmation.

She's a darling. How old is she now?

She's pure aussie with border collie markings, lol. She's also the Houdini in the pack and outsmarts my german shepherds.

Jodi is now 13 and still has the same expression.

Wow!:D How incredibly cute! I would never have thought she was an Aussie from that picture, though - she looks so completely Border Collie. I do see that she doesn't have a tail, though (although at first glance she could just have it curled under her). I loooove puppies! And adult dogs, of course, but puppies just make me melt.

I need to look into posting pictures on here - I've got a favorite of mine (Zoe is 1/2 Aussie & 1/2 German Shepherd) at about the same age.

Soo cute. such adorable face. Reminds of the blue dog by George Rodrigue.

We have big enough backyard. Two other dogs to play with and 7 cats willing to be herded... Well maybe not

Actually, I have 2 who are quite willing to be herded! The one almost requests it (walks into bedroom, meows, then turns and bolts - meanwhile his doggie is flinging herself off the bed into an abyss of darkness, hot on his heels - day after day after day). Well, these guys did raise her from a little puppy.

Here are my 2 aussies. Sadly, the one on the right, Bandit, passed away a few years ago. The one on the left is Harley who we adopted from a rescue down in GA. The cat in the middle is Hannibal (yes, named after the infamous characther in Silence of the Lambs!!)

And I can't resist sharing this pic of Harley and my Cardigan Corgi, Efan.

LoriO, your aussie is cute! I guess it's safe to say you love the merles. :D

Of your dogs, did Bandit most enjoy the company of your kitty?

Sundial. what a great pic of her in the snow! Gotta love those Aussies!!

Bandit was funny, she tolerated Hannibal, it is our other cat Smokey that she really loved. Harley is also great with the cats although he will mess with then occassionally. I'll post it later when I have more time but I have a great picture of Harley and Smokey curled up sleeping together on the couch.

Yes, she is a mini aussie. It took all my willpower not to come home with two of them. :)

LOL, yeah, owning an Aussie can become addictive! Here is one more aussie pic for your viewing pleasure.

Ok, I lied, here is one more. This is what Harley and Smokey do as soon as I leave to go to work at night, they take over my seat!!! Sorry the quality isn't the best, hubby took it with his phone camera.

they are all so cute. Not sure about all that booz though. A yankee with Jack Daniels... Is it considered a proper whisky?

Anyway, Jodi is very cute. Sadie is very very cute too.

Thank you for sharing such wonderful picture.

Ahhh, but see Harley is a Southern boy from Georgia..how could we expect him to drink anything else but JD??!!!

LOL is he really a whiskey drinker? I only ever had one dog who would drink hard liquor, my Ickey (pit and g*d knows what mix). You couldn't sit on the floor with a martini and turn your head, she'd drink it right up

LOL ,no he doesn't drink it, although he sure looks it doesn't he? It was a staged picture after my husbands favorite football team lost in the playoffs a few years ago.
