Hi, my name is Andrea, and I'm an addict. I can't stop doing intervals at crazy high intensities. I love feeling my legs and lungs burn. The sound of the "you're HR is too high!" beeping of my HRM is the most wonderful noise I can think of at the moment.

Does this make me weird, or are there other sick people like me out there that love long trips through the pain cave? Discuss! :D

sounds like we need to up your intensity. are these interval outside or on a trainer?

One can always make the interval longer or steeper or set it to a harder setting on the trainer :D :D :D
Its good that you like intervals cause most people I know dread it, don't like it, sees it as a necessary evil. Any coach would love to work you.

I don't think I can get much higher- my heart rate was 191 for 15 minutes today! It was not really supposed to be that hard according to my training program, but I just got into it & couldn't stop. My training partner called me a junkie

Oh yeah- and they're outside. I go nuts trying to ride the trainer.

191 for 15 minutes. and your max HR is?? It better be around 215-230 range. 15 minutes at 85% is okay but 90% isn't.

yeah. You are a JUNKIE!!

Hello. My name is Tammy, and I am an addict. I just can't seem to stop doing double spin classes. I know that when I leave class, I also leave my legs somewhere. I haven't figured out where they go, but they are not with me or on me. :D:D

Woohoo for the double spin class! Anyone else want to step forward?!

Oh yeah, and my max HR is 202 bpm. I've got a ticker like a rabbit.

You want to try a kick-butt interval workout that doesn't mean making your heart race? I've been given zone 3, low cadence intervals for strength building and they've taught me a few things. I can probably go faster at times if I don't spin so high.... and an interval doesn't have to leave me gasping to kill my quads. Try some 60-70 rpm, hr zone 3 intervals sometime and see what you think (I did mine on the low side, I averaged 62 rpm for each set 3 x10)
