Talking of shorts, a lot of the teams have just launched their new kits for the 2005 season and I'm pleased to see the FdJeux team have decided to go with darker shorts this season. A very wise move.

Last year they wore pale grey shorts and we happened to be at the Tour de France on the day of the team time trial. There was torrential rain all day and we got soaked, but when the FdJeux boys rode past, all of them out of the saddle as they climbed a small hill, and wet through to the skin... now, there were 6 very cheeky smiles :D:eek:
