Hey :)

I'm on the good path to recovery but have a few more questions. Just an FYI..all the exercises I do have been ok'd or provided my physio.

Is the amount of exercise below too much or not enough?

Swim 4x's a week-twice with our group & then on my own
Water based exercsises (knee bends, one legged & dual leg squats, heel raises, leg raises, deep water running and others given by physio) 4x's a week
Land(home) based exercises including small weight & core work-everyday (one legged squats :o)
Pilates-2x's a week
Beach walking 2'x's a week-this is hard work!!!
Sitting on trainer working towards making a complete circle-everyday for about 5min

The reason i ask is because the swelling in my right knee still lingers a bit and am wondering if i'm aggrivating the ligament too often? In addition, the physio mentioned there's a bit of fluid on the knee, will it be helped by the exercises?

What should i keep an eye out for in terms of recovery? How should the MCL feel??? It's still a wee bit tight and painful, i'm guessing this is normal? Well as normal as can be after having a leg brace on for 5 1/2 weeks & not being able to bend my knee :o

What about in terms of pedals? I know there are quite a few threads out there about knees & pedals but should i start off with platform ones? I've not used them in years & would rather not. I prefer Crank Bros pedals..

Do I bother my physio again if i'm on the right track?

I'm dying to get back on my bike :( but i know it's going to be another month n a smidgen before i do . Patience grasshopper, patience :o

Thanks
C
