Anyone hear about compression clothing? What is your opinion?

I wear compression stockings for my varicose veins. They certainly make my legs feel good! :D

As far as "normal" compression garments, my favorites are UnderArmor and CW-X.

Loooooooooooove compression shorts, knickers, and tights. I wear the tights instead of long underwear when skiing. It could be mental, but I swear my large muscles feel more supported when I'm wearing them.

I wore my beautiful CW-X compression knickers that I practically STOLE from Velobambina for my 50k. A little too tight over the top of my monster calves, but otherwise the perfect clothing for that event.

I'm with Knotted on the CW-X. However, I also have some REI compression shorts that I use for running in the summer and like them quite a bit as well. The waistband on them is really comfy.

If you do a search on "compression shorts" you'll turn up all kinds of info.

Does anyone here wear the compression or just the skin tight tops, like Under Armor and such? How do they feel? I admit they sound a little claustrophobic to me, although I do like compression tights.

I wear Ativa tops and bottoms which is (this won't pass the filter) ****'s Sporting Goods house brand of UA. Like 'em.

I went skiing a few months ago for the first time in 20 years. I certainly put my ability to walk pretty much normally the next day down to the fact I was wearing compression tights (skins)

If I don't stop eating all this high calorie holiday food soon, ALL my clothes are going to be compression garments.
