Warm glove, not bad price: http://www.teamestrogen.com/products.asp?pID=27321

This is a good glove for Seattle winter. Cozy and wind-resistant on the bike without being too warm. The fabric is stretchy enough that you don't have to fight the glove to hold the bars, but not so stretchy that you end up with thin cold spots or feel like your hands are sliding around like bungee-jumpers.

Non-slip gripping surfaces, and the sticky finger tips are GREAT. I was able to read a book while wearing these gloves, the sticky fingertips made turning pages pretty easy.

I've worn these on the bike, on the bus, walking the dog, and driving. Nice all-around gloves.

Hi Knotted,
You mention it's wind resistant, have you had a chance to ride on a windy day and notice if it really keeps you warm? I'm glove shopping, my cold hands are the one thing holding me back from riding some days. I have very small hands and can never find the good stuff that fits, but noticed these had XS. But it is very windy many winter days here in ABQ, so looking for good wind gloves.

Thanks!

The day I bought the gloves was windy and chilly. (that's why I bought them, I was riding and got cold, so I used it as an excuse to ride into my LBS!) Mind you, that's Seattle chilly, so not frigidly cold like folks who have real winter.

On the ride home from the LBS i wore my cozy new gloves, and my hands warmed right up and almost got too warm toward the end. I considered switching back to my regular gloves at that point.

Wind-wise, the Hinds are much better than the Smartwools I used to wear.

Glove update: wore the Hinds for a 4 hour dumping rain and cold ride. At the end they were literally sopping wet, completely soaked. My hands were still warm.

In fact, they stayed warm after I stopped riding and was loading up my bike and stuff. It wasn't until I took the soppy-drippy gloves off that my hands got chilled!

I'm very happy with these gloves.

Hi Knotted,
Thanks for the info. I'm getting ready to go on a ride in the my new Ibex undies and am only dreading the ride because of the cold hand issue. I think I'm going to spring for these. Thanks for the review!!!:D
